About Us

Monica Buell is a Senior Consultant with Grandview Analytics. With over 20 years in the financial industry, Monica brings deep expertise in market data and technology.  She has driven several large programs of work in the asset management technology space focused on optimizing data platforms, operational processes, and robust quality control frameworks. In addition to her extensive Aladdin data platform expertise, Monica brings proven experience in executive leadership, strategic planning, business analysis, and project and program management.

Prior to Grandview, Monica spent 23 years with BlackRock, holding various roles developing firm-wide data strategies including APAC Regional Head of BlackRock Data Services. She has extensive experience with stakeholder management including BlackRock Solutions and iShares, and has delivered new market data sets, data products and platform enhancements. 

Monica holds a BA in Political Science from UC Davis and is currently pursuing an MBA from the Edinburgh Business School.  She is based in the Sacramento area, loves European travel and is passionate about learning how people and organizations develop and grow.
