Vice President
Greg Thomas is Vice President at Grandview Analytics, where he specializes in investment operations data management initiatives. Greg has over 20 years of experience in hedge fund back-office trading operations, with deep expertise in derivative and credit facility investments. He combines this expertise with strong data analysis tools like SQL and PowerBI to support projects focused on data management, reconciliation, third party data integration and data migration and testing.
Greg spent 20 years as an Operations Manager at HBK Capital Management, an alternatives investment firm with one of the world’s longest tenured hedge funds. In this role, he led process improvement initiatives across multiple back-office functions including asset maintenance, reconciliations, settlements, and trade documentation. He then pivoted into the consulting world in business analyst and data analyst roles, primarily focused on optimizing and implementing transformational automated reconciliation platforms and workflows using both proprietary and vended solutions.
Greg is a Texas native and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Texas A&M University. He currently lives in Dallas and enjoys tennis and riding motorcycles.
