Dylan Baker is a Consultant at Grandview Analytics where he specializes in the credit and capital markets industry. With over 7 years of experience in the asset management industry, Dylan has developed a unique front-to-back perspective of the syndicated bank loan and private credit asset class and facilitates change and collaboration with business users and IT. He has initiated and implemented data solutions for both operations and front-office stakeholders, and supported colleagues as a super user for Bloomberg, Wall Street Office, Black Mountain and Lev Pro.
Prior to joining Grandview, Dylan spent most of his career at First Eagle Investments, most recently as a Senior Associate on the Capital Markets team, covering broadly syndicated loans and private credit assets. He started his career in loan operations and loan trade settlement, and this front-to-back office experience is well suited to data and technology transformation projects in the private credit and syndicated loan space.
Dylan earned his bachelor’s in political science and economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a native of the Chicago suburbs and currently calls Chicago home. He loves diving into his latest book series, playing guitar, and exploring the best restaurants in the diverse neighborhoods of Chicago.
